Connective tissue — the tendons, ligaments, and fascia that hold everything together — takes approximately 210 days to fully replace every cell of itself.
Most programs ignore this completely. They build muscular strength faster than the connective tissue can adapt, which is exactly how people get hurt doing everything right.
NWFIT builds from the inside out. RampUp Phase 1 uses higher reps and lower sets deliberately — biasing adaptation toward connective tissue before shifting to muscle and motor unit development in later phases.
This is also why the starting recommendation across every program is 7 out of 10 effort. Full control. Pain-free range of motion. A few reps left in the tank.

A Parking
Lot Moment.
In 2021, I went all in. Trained 42 hours a week chasing a dream of going pro in CrossFit. I was in the best shape of my life at that point.
Then I strained five muscles in a single competition. Later that day, my son came running out of school and asked for a piggyback ride.
I had to tell him no.
Standing in that parking lot, I made a decision I have never walked back from: I will never not be able to play with my kids — regardless of how old they get or what that looks like.
That moment didn't make me quit training. It made me train differently — with intention instead of obsession. With longevity instead of peak performance. With life as the goal instead of the trophy.
I spent the next years learning from world-renowned coaches. Structural balance. Connective tissue development. Long-term mobility. I didn't just rebuild my body — I rebuilt my entire philosophy.
I'm a gym owner and dad of four. I've personally coached over 2,000 people — Olympians, NFL players, FBI agents, executives, stay-at-home parents, grandparents. Our average member has been with us over two years.
